Prose Poems
by Wes Hyde
Prose, the it called being
poetic. This dreamed he:
conscience? of jibes reverie,
undulation's soul, impulses,
lyrical to itself adapt
rugged, supple rhyme
without rhythm musical.
Prose, a miracle not.
Baudelaire us! Which prose?
En poemes? Petits as known,
also Spleen. Paris published:
an ocean, literary in undercurrent,
having pieces written
paragraph-style (sometimes),
blocky (usually), small these
them call you what, regardless,
prose-poems.
