Pat Jones
Art by Pat Jones
A retired disability advocate and Director of MPACT,
Missouri's Parent Training Center, Pat Jones moved to the Mendocino
coast of northern California in 1997. With more time for art, she
works in several mediums— acrylic, clay, wood, cement, and most
recently, fiber which she likens to painting with a sewing machine.
Her work is colorful, a bit humorous and infused with nature. She
attended the University of Missouri and is a graduate of the School
of the Art Institute of Chicago.
(aside—her art sells far better than her attempts at poetry—lol—
however poetry—both reading it and attempting to write it, jump
starts the art process!)
