David Gwilym Anthony

Born in Wales, I read modern (ie, post-1066) history at Oxford University and work in financial services in London. I live with my family in Stoke Poges, a village to the west of London, adjacent to the church where Gray wrote his "Elegy". Along with history, I've always loved reading and writing poetry, although I had a dry spell that lasted about 30 years until 1999. I'm principally interested in metrical poetry, especially sonnets, and also Japanese tanka.
